Welcome to Tenaya Middle School! 

We are honored to partner with you in guiding your child through these important middle school years, marked by tremendous academic, social, and emotional growth. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every student can thrive. We focus on developing critical thinking, creativity, and values such as respect, responsibility, and resilience, helping students reach their full potential and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Tenaya Middle School also partners with Restorative Justice to promote social-emotional wellness and effective conflict resolution. We welcome community involvement and value your support, feedback, and ideas. 
A highlight of our academic program is Career Technical Education through the Paxton Patterson Lab. Students gain real-world, hands-on experiences in fields like virtual welding, home maintenance, cosmetology, animal science, phlebotomy, child development, and more. Our award-winning band program also offers exceptional musical opportunities that build discipline, teamwork, and a passion for the arts.
